About Us

It all started back in 2010 when, with the help of a.friend, I opened my first food cart. As time went on I began to get invited to major events in the city of New Haven and at these events there would always be a kettle corn vendor. I became close with this vendor and paid very close attention to his machine and thought how great it would be to have a more mobile version of this machine. So to the drawing board I came up with a design. I went to a local metal shop showed him my design and away it went.

About three or four weeks later the machine was all set to go. We tested and worked out the kinks and it was all done. I spoke with one of the guys that worked for the that kettle corn vendor, a man named William, I told him all about the machine. He liked what he heard. So, William came on board, taught me his recipe, and worked for about a year when  unfortunately the city of New Haven decided it would change all its ordinances so I closed down the company and sold it off to a customer who was interested in taking it over. I sold off all of my hot dog carts but kept the kettle corn machine because it was my design and I had a feeling in the future I would want to use it. I would from time to time pull it out and make kettle corn for family and friends or myself.

Fast forward to the summer of 2022. I'm at a family birthday party and we're in the backyard and it look over and remember the kettle corn machine and decided to clean it up. So I spend the next 3 weekends. Going to my parents for the cart was and cleaning the cart up. Now fast forward another 3 weeks and I walk into a little store near my work on a Wednesday afternoon that sells kettle corn. I speak with the owner for a good two and a half hours plus. Ironically in the talk I discover that she is none other than the cousin of William that used to work for me. So my brain gets going and I start to think about how much fun it was to do the mobile vending and how much money that the kettle corn vendor used to make. So with my newly cleaned machine I started making large batches. I start doing research on kettle corn vendors. And then register as a business in Connecticut and here we are.
